Uniforms typically can be viewed as a sign of conformity or an item of clothing that represents occupation or education. At times, uniforms can be condensed/expanded to a trigger of attraction. Surely we have had the conversation or heard an individual say “there is nothing more attractive than a man/woman in uniform”. This could explain the adventurous that choose to ‘play dress up’ on more than seasonal holidays. Below is an image of women dressed in uniforms that can trigger a form of attraction among human males.
A quick correspondence with a Registered Nurse made me appreciate the importance of real uniforms. On average if you wear a uniform (and are not confined to imprisonment) you are in the item of clothing 40+ hours a week. Uniforms can help an individual with confidence as there is a sense of pride and ownership that go with most. In addition, uniforms help differentiate between other non-occupational individuals and are a way to display accomplishments and respect for career.[caption id="attachment_1422" align="aligncenter" width="810"] https://www.facebook.com/WashingtonRegionalGrowingFamilies[/caption]
Below is an example of a woman’s thoughts on uniforms and their meaning.

I believe that when a guy sees a women in uniform they imagine a sense of independence and self-empowerment. With each and every uniform comes a sense of responsibility. In my case every morning at 0430 I think of my family, friends, and my brothers and sisters serving down-range when I button my uniform and lace my boots.
It goes without saying that wearing a military uniform does not appeal to the outside or visual effects, ect. More so a dignified and honorable way to dress each morning and realize that by putting on the uniform you stand for something greater than yourself.[caption id="attachment_1412" align="aligncenter" width="192"] Photo Credit: Cory. While men often and unfortunately sexualize women in uniforms, it is important realize that despite this men respect a woman in a real uniform. You may assume that men are more attracted to that waitress "in uniform," but the attraction for a woman in a real uniform exceeds that and in positive, respectful ways. After all, " you stand for something greater than yourself" and that is most attractive.
