by 11 May 03, 2016For all of our local Arkansans, here is a gift guide that will not only allow you to buy something amazing for your mom, but also support your local businesses. Mother's Day is not the day to treat yo self but the day to treat yo mom! Spoil her! She gave you life, luvvs! For those of you still looking for a gift as precious as your mom, look no further. As per usual, our local artisans are killin' it! 1. Freckled Hen Farmhouse Freckled Hen Farmhouse is a well curated ode to farm life. The Freeman's have created a shop that frankly makes the farmer in all of our hearts yearn to escape. This is great for the mom that loves to make her house feel like a home. Order online and look for pop-up shops around Fayetteville. 2. Bang-Up Betty I kinda don't want to tell you guys about this awesome necklace, but I have to. It's too excellent to keep to myself. This is actually my mother's day gift...I know I'm bad, I made my husband give to me early because I saw a package in the mail that looked like a gift. We all need to embrace our inner momma bear, and this necklace is a great way to be reminded to channel that power. Find it here. 3. Sleet City Signwriting Want to get your mom an original piece of art? These one of a kind hand-painted signs will bring new life to any room's decor. She also has some with sassy sayings mom will luvv. Check out her facebook page for contact and purchase information. 4. jack lloyd Fayetteville luvvs, I'm so jealous that YOU have the chance to buy one of these bags this weekend. This weekend at The Little Craft Show you can find jack lloyd's designs. These bags are great for the classic mom. These leather bags are chic and stunning. A real treat to own. Little Rock luvvs, you will just have to catch these designs at local pop-up events for now. 5. May We Fly May We Fly is filled with beautiful home decor and prints that can add beautiful pops of color to any person's life. Have a creative mom that appreciates colorful designs? Get her something personal from this shop. Fayetteville friends, you can also find this maker at The Little Craft Show. 6. Bella Vita Jewelry Little Rock locals can find the Bella Vita storefront in the Lafayette Building and also order online here. Bella Vita is the perfect place to get personalized jewelry as well as vintage inspired pieces. And a great place to get a gift for the sentimental mom. Bonus! This weekend they have an event with Loblolly Creamery that seems like a great way to spend time with mom this weekend AND there is pretty wonderful giveaway to go along with it. Check it out here. 7. Gingiber While Gingiber is probably known best for the adorable hand drawn animal pillows, we have to say the kitchen towels are absolutely wonderful. Also hand drawn with adorable critters in black and white print, your mom will luvv adding them to her kitchen. 8. Plant Lab at Electric Ghost Moms should feel pretty lucky that the very weekend of Mother's Day is also the weekend that Electric Ghost's storefront is opening up on Main Street in Little Rock. Electric Ghost is a screen printing company that has recently expanded to selling home decor, furniture, oddities, and more. What I'm most excited about for Mother's Day is the Plant Lab curated by Shannon Shrum and Steven Smith at their store front. This lab will allow you create your own vision of the perfect potted plant or succulent with custom pots. I can't help but think this would be a great way to give your mom a gift that you designed or the gift could even be the experience of making the potted plant together. They will be open from 10 to 7 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For NWA people, here's the info. about The Little Craft Show where you can find many of these goodies this weekend! And we are sharing an exclusive code for $10 off VIP tickets that include some amazing swag. Use GOLDVIP. Happy Shopping Luvvs!
