Vote for Gender Reveal Dessert

by 11 September 09, 2015

Luvvs, I need you to vote for your favorite GENDER REVEAL dessert! My husband and I find out the luvvly news about the sex of our baby THIS Thursday. That means in just one short day (actually, the longest day ever), we will hear the news of our whether or not our baby is a bouncing boy or giggling girl. I've decided not to have a gender reveal party, but I do want to do something special to reveal the news. As someone who loves to bake, my automatic thought was "choose a fun recipe."  But, I wanted to do a cute recipe that wasn't a cupcake. The problem is...there are TOO many cute options. How's a girl to choose? That's where you come into the picture. You are going to vote on which option is your favorite. To vote: comment on the insta picture, comment below, or comment on the Facebook posts. I'll reveal next week which recipe won, how I made it my own, anddddd what that means about our future little babe. Can't wait to see which one you luvvs choose!

GENDER REVEAL RECIPES

Option 1 - Poptart Pops gender reveal desserts, gender desserts, sex reveal, baby reveal, gender reveal party, baby showers, baby shower desserts, baby desserts These pops are sooo adorable. They combine my luvs of poptarts and of miniature versions of food. For this, I would create my own neutral colored frosting and then fill the poptart with a jam that matched the color of the sex. Option 2 - Marshmallow Stuffed S'mores Cookies gender reveal desserts, gender desserts, sex reveal, baby reveal, gender reveal party, baby showers, baby shower desserts, baby desserts If you've been following my posts for a while, you know that this girl luvvs herself some s'mores. For this recipe, I would use food coloring or some other method to turn the marshmallow either pink or blue. Option 3 - Little Love Bundt Cake gender reveal desserts, gender desserts, sex reveal, baby reveal, gender reveal party, baby showers, baby shower desserts, baby desserts Again, I would keep the frosting neutral, but let the hearts on the inside speak the truth! Eeek!! I would expect that I'd have some favorite I was secretly wishing would win the poll, but these are really all just so adorable. I am PUMPED to make whatever it is you vote for. Come back next week to see the results, luvvs! Happy Eats My Sweets, melinda-sig
