It's officially Farmers' Market season and here in Fayetteville it's pretty much a way of life. Even if you don't demand having farm-fresh fruits and veggies on the table for the week, you can probably get behind grabbing a coffee at Little Bread Co., buying a beautiful bouquet and strolling around the square to see what's good. Personally, I luvv to pop in and out of the shops and grab a record or two at Block Street Records before heading home.
You don't go to the market without seeing a handful of people you know. In case you've forgotten that Fayetteville is a small town, get ready to be reminded by seeing friends or coworkers you haven't seen in ages. The market brings everyone out of the long winter hibernation and it's all part of the wonderful experience. Since you'll be seeing anyone and everyone, you'll want to look your best.
In case you're not getting me, the farmers' market is more of an event than a time to check off your grocery list. I'm not saying this because I think that's the way it should be. I'm saying this because it's true. And if you're rolling your eyes right now, it's because you know it's true. :)
The formula for looking and feeling your best at the market is your favorite denim, comfortable flats, a simple blouse, and the perfect tote bag for all your finds. It's simple and it's what I want to wear everyday. I'm pretty sure I have been. Check it out!
