Alright y'all, admit it, you have more Halloween candy left over than you know what to do with. I have a crazy sweet tooth, and I stinkin' love candy, but even I can be at a loss for getting through all of the candy in my house. So, I decided I needed to do a couple of experiments - what else could I make with the candy? I ended up coming with with two recipes that are an easy way to make something new out of the candy you may have around the house.
Halloween Popcorn Ingredients 1 bag of popcorn Halloween candy Directions I already love chocolate and popcorn. I routinely add M&Ms to popcorn, my FAVE! For this recipe, I decide to try adding different chocolate with the popcorn to see if it could be just as good. First, break up about a cup of different candy bars and put them in the bottom of a bowl.
Then take the bag of popcorn and pop it.
Once the popcorn is popped, put it in the bowl with the chocolate. The minute the popcorn hits the bowl, you need to start stirring the chocolate and popcorn together. Continually stir until the chocolate is completely melted. The chocolate will cover the popcorn. Afterwards, I zapped the mixture in the microwave for 10 seconds.
Candy Cookies Ingredients Sugar cookie sheet Halloween Candy Directions Buy or make your own batch of sugar cookie mixture. Next, you will lay parchment paper on your cookie sheet. Then make essentially one giant cookie on the cookie sheet. You will cook the cookie according to the directions. Halfway through cookie the cookie sheet, you will pull the cookie out of the oven. Then you will put pieces of candy on top of the sugar cookie and finish cooking it.
