Strawberry nutella yogurt bark is your new favorite snack. I mean, even the name alone probably lets you know that you will love it. Love fruit? Love fruit + nutella? Love yogurt? Love healthy snacks? Yes to all of the above! Yogurt is a great part of a healthy diet. Ladies, we unfortunately all struggle getting enough calcium in our diets. By incorporating more yogurt into our diet, we can keep our bones strong. Now, I know not everyone has time to eat yogurt every morning, but this snack makes yogurt more portable. Dare I say it's an adult go-gurt. Once you get the basic recipe, experiment with different toppings.
STRAWBERRY NUTELLA YOGURT BARK
Ingredients 3 cups of yogurt 1 cup of granola 1 cup of slice strawberries 1 tablespoon of nutella 1 tablespoon of honey Directions First, you need to prepare a pan to freeze the yogurt in. No matter what size pan you use, you will need to line the bottom with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Something that will prevent the yogurt from freezing to the bottom of the pan. You want the yogurt to be about a 1/2 thick, so if you want to make greater amounts, just keep that in mind. After the pan is prepared, you will mix the yogurt and honey together. Then pour this mixture into the pan. Next, top with granola and strawberries. Once I had all of the toppings in place, I decided to make this a little sweeter by drizzling some nutella on top. I used a spoon to shake nutella over the top. Now that the whole mixture is complete, you will freeze it for 3-4 hours. Once it's totally frozen, cut this into slices and store in a freezer bag or tupperware. I'm a snack-er, and I always will be. While it would be awesome to grab chips and oreos every time I wanted a snack, it's probably better to create healthy snacks like this yogurt bark to indulge in.
